First English Course: is a video-based online English course for new students.  Learn English with video stories of beginners in an adult education class.  Online activities using videos, photos, sounds, charts and text teach vocabulary, grammar, spelling and life skills and give you practice listening, speaking, reading and writing English.  This English course consists of 20 units covering basic topics such as time, clothing, weather, surroundings and more.




English 1 Plus: is a beginner high/low intermediate course based on the Voice of America video.  Learn English with fun videos about Anna working in Washington, D.C.  Watch stories about his work, friends and activities while you learn English vocabulary, listening, grammar, writing, reading and spelling.  This English course consists of 5 units, each consisting of six lessons.  We recommend that you complete this course after the 1st English course.





The Second English Course: is a video-based English course for intermediate students.  This English course includes five engaging video stories about the situations of different characters living in the United States with 20 units covering workers and the workplace, housing and family life, taxes, law and community issues, and more.  Interactive practice activities combine videos, sounds, charts and pictures to teach vocabulary, grammar and all life skills – listening, speaking, reading and writing.





The English and Reading Practice course covers intermediate level reading in a variety of subjects.  The stories are mainly from news reports.  In addition to reading the story yourself, you can also listen to a native speaker read the story.  Each unit contains a lesson, vocabulary and spelling exercises, comprehension questions, and a writing activity.  Pronunciation practice is also part of the vocabulary section.  This intermediate English course contains dozens of stories on 11 different topics.




Access USA: is an intermediate-level course that provides practical information about living in the United States.  The course consists of 5 units with over 100 videos on topics including using community service, getting a driver's license, building job skills, working with the health care system, understanding US schools, and navigating useful websites.  Lessons also include conversation, vocabulary, reading and language practice activities to help develop your English skills.






The America  Learns Citizenship course helps immigrants prepare for all parts of the naturalization interview, including the steps to becoming a U.S. citizen;  Who needs legal assistance and where to get it;  How to avoid immigration fraud;  Preparation of oral review of N-400 applications, section by section;  US history and government for civics tests with speaking, reading, and writing practice;  what to expect at the interview, including making small talk with the interviewer and following instructions;  vocabulary and grammar for answering interview questions;  And what to do after becoming a US citizen.
